null The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights and His Two Deputies Attended the Meeting of the National Assembly’s Committee on Justice

On 6 May 2025, Dr. Ákos Kozma, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Commissioner for the Rights of National Minorities and Dr. Gyula Bándi, Deputy Commissioner for Future Generations, took part in the meeting of the National Assembly’s Committee on Justice. The committee discussed Report No. B/11125 on the activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies in the year 2024.

Following the introductory remarks by Dr. Ákos Kozma and his deputies, the members of the committee posed questions regarding the report. After the response of the Commissioner, the members of the Committee on Justice voted to recommend the adoption of the report on the 2024 activities of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary and his deputies to the National Assembly, with 8 votes in favour, 4 against, and no abstentions.
