Monitoring the Activities of School Guards at Tiszalúc, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Continued

Ombudsman Dr Ákos Kozma continued the monitoring of the activities of the school guards based in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County: he visited yet another institution of public education on 28 September 2021. This time, the Ombudsman paid a visit to Tiszalúc Arany János Primary School, where he held discussions with the school principal and the school guard in attendance. The main topic of the discussion was the experience gained with regard to the institution of the school guard.

Ombudsman Visits Nursing Home for the Elderly and Disabled in Bélapátfalva

On 28 September 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma paid a visit to the Nursing Home for the Elderly and for Persons with Disabilities operated by the General Directorate of Social Affairs and Child Protection. The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights was received by Ms. Erzsébet Tóth, Head of Institution.

Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Attends Inaugural Session of Civil Consultative Body

On 22 September 2021, the Civil Consultative Body (CCB) held its inaugural session at the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights. The membership of the body increased, now there are as many as fourteen members, as opposed to the earlier eight.

Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Greets School Guard of the Year

On 21 September 2021, dr. Ákos Kozma congratulated Mrs. Tamásné Kulcsár, the recipient of a recognition called “School Guard of the Year” in Miskolc. The award was granted to Mrs. Kulcsár by Police Lieutenant-General dr. János Balogh, National Chief of Police. Mrs. Kulcsár performs her duties at the Gvadányi József Primary School in Rudabánya, which is located in the territory of competence of the Kazincbarcika Police Department.
