On 3 September 2021, in Novi Sad, Serbia, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr Ákos Kozma conducted bilateral meetings with the heads of several partner ombudsman institutions, including the Kyrgyz Ombudsman Mr Mamytov Tokon and his Secretary General.

On 3 September 2021, in Novi Sad, Serbia, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr Ákos Kozma conducted bilateral meetings with the heads of several partner ombudsman institutions, including the head of the Lithuanian ombudsman institution Prof. Dr Augustinas Normantas and his Secretary General.

On 13 September 2021, Dr. Ákos Kozma participated in the ceremonial inauguration of a memorial cross, which had been set up at Tatabánya in honour of the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress.

Ombudsman Dr Akos Kozma conducted preparatory talks with the heads of the partner ombudsman institutions for the meeting of the ombudsmen of the Visegrád Group (V4) countries to be held in Visegrád, Hungary this year, organised by the Office of the Hungarian Commissioner for Fundamental Rights. Such talks included a meeting with Slovak Ombudsperson Mrs Mária Patakyová in Bratislava on 7 September 2021 and with Czech Ombudsman Mr Stanislav Křeček in Brno on 9 September 2021.

On 8 September 2021, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights gave a talk at the roundtable discussion entitled “Civil Society – Support or Problem for the Authorities” in the framework of the Economic Forum.

The European Ombudsman Institute, i.e. the EOI held its Board meeting and annual General Assembly in Novi Sad, Serbia on 2–3 September 2021. At the meeting, which was held in combination with a conference, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights Dr Ákos Kozma was re-elected to be a Board Member of the organisation. The Hungarian Ombudsman was also elected by the General Assembly to become a member of the Executive Board.
