null V4 OMBUDSMEN SUMMIT IN VISEGRÁD

Since 2004, the ombudsmen of the Visegrad countries have met annually to share their experiences, current achievements and challenges in their work, and to present their recent practice. The theme of this year's summit was "The role of ombudsmen in protecting the rights of the most vulnerable groups in society during the Covid-19 pandemic".
The two-day conference, organised by the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights in Visegrad, was attended by the Minority Ombudsman, the Ombudsman for Future Generations, Prof. Dr. Mária Patakyová Public Defender of Rights of Slovakia, Dr. Stanislav Křeček Ombudsman of the Czech Republic and Dr. Stanisław Trociuk Deputy Ombudsman of Poland.
During the Summit, the Minority Ombudsman gave a detailed account of her activities in 2020, presenting her actions in the context of the COVID19 pandemic and talking about current investigations.
